- Identity. Retention time by RP-HPLC against the reference standard, confirmed by ESI-MS. The spectrometer should place the protonated molecule at m/z 664.4 for 1+, against a calculated average mass of 663.4 (C21H27N7O14P2); the measured mass should agree to within a unit.
- Related substances. Any single related substance not more than 1.0 percent.
- Water. Not more than 8.0 percent by Karl Fischer.
- Fill. Labelled peptide content per vial, plus or minus 5 percent by weight.
- Endotoxin. Reported on the certificate by LAL where the line is tested.
- Batch, dates, signature. The batch number as printed on the vial label and the packing list, the date of manufacture, the retest date (24 months from manufacture at minus 20 degrees Celsius, retest date on every certificate), and the release signature.
